So we have had a highly expensive clothesline for the past ten years...we cleaned the basement today and My lovely husband taught me how to use it (the bowflex that is :) ).

Anyway I am not quite sure how to put that into the tracker, I did the aerobic circuit training workout...and while it has several strength training pieces to it, it aslo has cardio involved...how do I mark that down? or Should I say no biggy and don't worry about it?

And while we are on the topic, why am i eating all the calories that I am burning, some days I try but usually I don't...isn't the point of doing exercise is to burn off those calories? or is that so that we can eat more? I guess I am confused. I was doing Jillian MIchaels, and well just can't afford to keep doing that, there you aren't suppose to eat what you burn off, and my calorie goal here is smack dab in the middle of what it was before. so I am confused!

There is both a "strength training" and a "circuit training" entry in the database. Circuit gives you more calories.

MFP creates a calorie deficit for when you don't work out. So if you don't work out you burn 2000, it tells you to eat 1500, a 500 calorie deficit. If you do workout you burn 2500, you need to eat 2000 in order to maintain the same 500 calorie deficit. Deficits that are too big can lead to problems and actually less weight loss.

Thank you! I just found it in the cardio section! I must have misspelled it earlier :) not me I never misspell anything :)

I will try to eat my exercise calories but I really think the calories this says I have burned is way over what it is..
