Fat Vegan...but not for long

I am on my third day at MFP. I really like this site. Besides holding me accountable for my calorie intake, it tells me what the nutritional content is in the foods that I eat. So great when I want to see how much calicum, iron, protein I am eating. I am a vegan and love FOOD. Obsessed with cooking and eating, but my food, even though I eat whole foods, are nuts, avocados, oil, and grains. Those calories add up fast. I eat A LOT of veggies and try to bulk up my meals with them. The only empty calories I consume are from alcohol. A cold beer on a hot day...wine with dinner. I need to cut those out and only have them on special days. I am also trying to cut out caffeine and gluten, or at least cut down.
