MFP says i can have 1200 calories a day! Wow i thought, but when i filled in the diary bit it was kind of scary how quickly 1200 calories can be gotten through.....
What i want to know are three things:
1. What kind of things is everyone (particularly people in the UK) eating to keep within their allowance?
2. When i input my exercise, should i be eating the calories? And if i'm not exercising that day but need more calories should i get my bum to the gym and earn some spends???
Any and all help greatfully accepted xxx

I live in Surrey, UK. I also have 1200 calories a day but do 300-700 calories per day in exercise. I personally eat most of my exercise calories but there are many different views on this. If you want, I'll request you as a friend and then you will have access to my food diary. Request put in now.

Hi,
scrambled egg for breakfast,
100gms baked beans, 75 gms mushrooms 20gms grated cheese.
weight watchers sheperds pie with cauliflower and sprouts.
All this comes to about 500 cals...so You have 700 cals to add plus your exercise cals
Eat your exercise cals...no need to go to the gym if you can not afford it....I do3 x 30 min walks a day
good luck x0 -
Thanks all, all friend requests greatfully accepted, i just need to find the bit where i accept them now lol....0

Hi - I've just started using MFP and recording my food diary.
Typically I have porridge made with water for breakfast - to make it taste great I add cinnamon, nutmeg, sultanas and a teaspoon of manuka honey.
Lunch is either brown rice and salad or Ryvita crispbreads and philadelphia extra light, fruit (apple/grapes/cherry tomatoes) and fat free yogurt.
Dinner is either brown rice and vegetables, vegetable omlette or baked potato, cottage cheese and salad.
I don't particularly like meat so I find this quite easy - I really do miss cheese though!
This keeps me within my 1200 calorie allowance.
Hope this is useful.0 -
