So, it has been 10 days since my last work out. :noway:

I feel awful because I notice the difference. My weight is the same, and even less BUT I feel less confident, feel it when I go upstairs, or just jump and down with my son.

The worst part I stopped WANTING to exercise... That is scary. I'm planning on exercising tomorrow for the first time after my recovery brake. I'm scared to see how much I have gotten set back. ((( :grumble:

I have 2 events ahead of me: Zumbathone (3hour event) and Body Pump training - 3 days! It is all in 3 weeks. Will I be able to regain my strength before it? I AM TERRIFIED!!!!:frown:

Any advise is appreciated!!!:embarassed:

Take it slow I am recovering from a car accident and I have started with just 10-15 minutes a day if it hurts I stop, I felt the same way dreading to workout again because of the pain and scared if I would hurt myself again. I felt better after the first day but have yet to go back to 30+ minutes because I feel to sore. And you should always check with your doctor.

Be careful. I injured myself 3 1/2 months ago and I'm still healing. Able to workout now but can't go as hard as I was. You don't need any set backs.

When I first hurt myself I knew I couldn't exercise so I focused more on food and it helped me to stay on track

Yes, I second taking it slow. I was out of commission recently for two weeks because of some nasty migraines so I totally feel ya. I just started exercising again 3 days ago and I took it slowly. Instead of jumping right back into the intense workouts I am used to, I started with some low impact workouts (Leslie Sansone) and just taking walks outside. I am definitely not feeling as strong as I was two weeks ago, but I am just being patient because I know that I will get back there. You never want to push yourself too hard and hurt yourself again!
  • Thank you, guys for your advise to take it slow. I will start with the bike with back support (I have pulled muscle on my back).
I hope to get back in shape as soon as possible. (((
