Hey, everyone! We are having pork chops for dinner tonight and wanted to know if anyone had any recipes and ideas for the main dish (and sides) they want to share. All have to be calorie friendly, keep in mind. This IS after all MFP. ;-)
Can't wait to see everyone's responses on this! I'm sure it will make me hungry.

OOh I just made pork chops tonight and I REALLY liked the recipe.
I cooked the pork chops in light butter then set them aside. In the same skillet I cooked 1/4 cup of honey and 1/4 cup of lemon juice until it thickend, and then I added back the pork chops and finished cooking. Oh and the pork chops were seasoned w/ flour, salt, and pepper -- it was a very simple and tasty recipe.
I served it w/ creamy corn.0 -
Pan-seared pork chops with apples and veggies. I really like to slice red apples, and toss them in the pan that I seared the pork in, throw in some thyme and rosemary, and a bit of brown sugar. So yummy0

From a cook book I have ... haven't tried them personally yet because I just got the book, but they sound yummy to me.

I like to sauté a whole onion and a couple of minced garlic cloves in a tiny bit of butter. Then add the pork chops and cook until done. The whole family loves these!0

Appreciate all the responses! I'm going to definitely try a lot of these. So, the funny thing is my husband pulled out pork chops defrosting them....not realizing he pulled out the pre-marinaded ones with jerk marinade on them! lol!! So, jerk pork tonight. Another delicious pork chop dish to try next time from all these ideas! :-) keep the ideas coming though! This is a great topic overall.0
