Just approach it like men do.

Stop your whining and pick up heavy objects.

The rest is white noise ;)

Most of us are looking in the mirror enjoying our manly bicep pump and inflamed pecks.

Aw Man...gotta really learn how to use that "quote" thingy!!

Anyway...what you said about: "Just approach it like men do.

Most of us are looking in the mirror enjoying our manly bicep pump and inflamed pecks."

CRACKED ME UP!!! I went into a gym once and was so self-conscious. I was in a hotel (nicer one) with a great little gym and there was this guy in there who looked like he definitely knew what he was doing. As I never worked out in a gym (free weights at home...walking/running on an old country gravel road, farm work, etc...) I was really unsure how to even operate anything so I did just that...pick up the heavy objects" and seriously try not to injure myself. I will say that I did embarrass myself a couple of times but nobody knew but me!

    Yay, that's awesome.

I have felt intimidated at the new gym, but I've gotten a great deal on a few PT sessions ($59 for 3), and am now a bit more confident on what I am doing.

Men aren't really such scary dudes, they were all little boys once!
