So I just ate some French Fries. Not really proud of it, but I ate em. Yeah, I’m still under my calories for the day, but that’s not the point. ARG!

Did you enjoy them while you were eating them? YES
Do you plan on doing it every second day? NO

I take the attitude that the hard work of exercise and food monitoring I do on an almost daily basis is what allows me to have the 'sometimes foods when I really want them.

I'd be more worried about the 400 calories of beer from yesterday. At least the fries have fiber, some vitamin C and a few other nutrients. The beer is basically calories with no real purpose.

I agree! I think you can have some "not so good for you food" every now and then. Moderation is key!

that's OK, you can't deprive yourself of everything. Just don't do it again too soon and stay within your calorie goal today and you can still call this a very successful day.

We all have to remember that none of us are perfect and when we mess up, we pick ourselves up and start going again. That isn't a license to mess up, it's just a reminder that we don't have to beat ourselves up when we DO mess up (because we all will!)
