Weightloss with WALKING?

Anyone on here have weight loss with only.. or mainly WALKING? Treadmill? Outdoors? What worked best for you? I've been feeling so sluggish at the gym lately that I've just been walking around 3.7mph at a 10.0 incline.. then I bring it to NO incline and jog on 5.8

I lost the first 50lbs with just walking and occasional elliptical use. Now I'm running but that's just because I wanted something different to do.
I just walk at a fast pace but I can still carry a conversation on for 30-45 min, when I started it was probably 3/4 times a week.
Now I have a treadmill too, so I run or walk on the treadmill or outside depending on the weather or how I'm feeling, they both work very well.0 -
yup! I have lost most of my lbw by walking at least 90 minutes a day (outside soaking up the sun!
) and hiking around our local lakes/parks when I can (about 4 times a week). It really can be done and it is so much more motivating than the stinkin treadmill lol.

I have loss a total of 20 pounds so far and all I do is use my treadmill to walk. I started doing just 30 minutes and I am now doing 60-75 minutes on 7% incline. I workout 5-6 days a week. I get a great burn using my treadmill, even more than when I have gone out for a walk around the park or my neighborhood. Treadmill is great0

i have lost 40 lbs by walking i dont have a lot of time so after the child has his dinner off i go with the pram walking further and further each day and the longer i walk the longer he sleeps so good all round0

Yup.. I hate running, so the only real cardio I do is walking. I lost 25 pounds doing a combo of walking and weight training0
