    I have college class @ 7:30 in the morning. I think I will just stay awake the whole time...I would go run, but in texas it is still over 90 degrees in the middle of the night! ugh anyone want to donate to the "Move Heather North" fund?

    I'm more north than you (Nova Scotia, Canada) and it's not that much better here. It's 32C (~90F) with the humidity right now, and it's 3am.

    I feel ya. I heard TX is suffering worst summer in decades. I heard a returning soldier to TX is begging to go back to Iraq. :noway:

    am in oklahoma its a bit better but still hot and humid :( lets all go to alaska for the summer lol

    Well no sweating today with the hurricane the came through. I use to live in CA in 29 Palms it would be over 100 85% of the year.. people would say its a dry heat.. YEAH so is your oven!

    I will take dry heat over humidity any day! Ugh, the humidity just makes you feel so gross and sticky, and it's like you need to cut through the air. Heat is definitely more bearable when it's dry!

    This heat totally sucks right?!

    This is why I do my best to stay indoors.. but I went hiking this morning so it was barely peaking 100 when I was done :happy:

    I only spend short amounts of time outside. It's all spent walking from a building to my car like ... from my apt to car .. from car to gym ... from gym to car .... lol!

    I will give you that it was easier being in the desert in CA then in North Carolina. Hottest I was in was 145.

    I AGREE. I used to live in Hawaii and on a day that is 98 degrees with 50%+ humidity feels like 130 degrees lol

    I'm up! I have a test in psychology in the morning & I have to take notes on the chapter since I wasn't in class on Weds....

    haha I know!! I used to work out at the park but now im a proud member of 24 hour fitness equipped with glorious A/C!

    I'm really imagining that it is going to be cold when i go outside in the morning. I even burn pumpkin spice candles inside to trick my senses into thinking it's Fall!

    Yeah I was active for 12 years, out now though.

    My sister's husband (approx 2months newlyweds) joined the Marines. Scary cuz he's in NC right now. He called my family letting us know he survived his first hurricane (since we're from Northern Cali). LOL
