Getting to your calorie goal everyday

Hi guys!
Just started calorie counting and walking last Wednesday and am finding it difficult to get to my calorie goal each day. I am feeling like I am forcing myself to eat when I don't feel hungry. I am interested in losing some weight, aiming to lose a lb a week but as I am not hitting the mark. It's looking like a hard task. Does anyone know how I can increase my appetite so I don't feel like I am over eating?

rather than increase your appetite, look for higher calorie foods to eat. My favorite high calorie food is brown rice because I feel like I am still eating healthy0

Add in some avocado, olive oil, and/or almonds to boost your cal count.0

I don't think it's super important to actually reach the amount they recommend. I never Do. Eat How much you feel like you need and that's all what counts0
