Just bought my son the P90X dvds for christmas. Got them for a great deal on ebay. However, it doesn't come with any instructions on how to use the program other than the Bring It dvd. Can anyone tell me how this program is supposed to work? He is expecting dear old mom to do the program with him, he is 18 and just finished his senior year of football.:noway: I'm up for the challenge but want to be sure to do it right so that I don't give out before the program is complete. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Hi, it's supposed to come with 2 big books-1 about nutrition, and the other about the diiferent programs you can do and on what days you do the exercises on . The Classic is for building muscle and losing fat, the Lean Program is more for losing fat and toning up. The Double Program is for insane people. I am restarting the program and doing the Classic version this time. The Lean I did 6 weeks of until I hurt my back. Now I feel I need to restart to build up the strength I had. It worked though, but I wasn't regimented to stick the his eating plan. SO I'M GOING TO THIS ! You can be my P90X Buddy! We'll do it together!
  • Unfortunately it didn't come with the books:grumble: Is there anywhere online I can access this or somewhere I can buy the books? I'm looking forward to starting this program and happy that my son is challenging mom to do this with him. I know its easier when you have someone to be accountable to.

You must be able to buy them somewhere, or even call Beachbody. I see that Sears sells it now, check out the books there. There is a pre test you should do also to see where your at with some testing so you can compare when your done. I am way more flexible already. Hang in there once you start, I swore at Tony many times. Make sure you eat well too or you'll "bonk" as he says. It's a great program....
  • I haven't done much "exercise" other than renovating our house, a house my husband and brother bought and keeping up with two teenagers and a four year old. I know that that I can only improve with this program and this website.
    Thanks:flowerforyou:
