NSV - 5K101 Week 3

Today, the first day of the third week I've been using the 5K101 mp3s to get moving, I had my first real NSV! Today, while doing the "running" in three minute intervals, while running NO WALKERS PASSED ME! :blushing:
Yes. It's true. Previous to this walkers regularly strolled by me while I "ran". In my own defense I have been moving slowly as I try to develop better form (I'm using the Chi Running approach) and while I get used to using minimal shoes (Vibram Five Fingers).:embarassed: I'm not sure who's been more embarrassed - me or the walkers FOR me but yeah - today I even PASSED a walker! I'm sure I'll get lapped a few more times by those speed walkers but at least the elderly gentleman who is all hunched over isn't having shuffle by looking all awkward.:ohwell:

great job! i'm learning to run as well- i felt like i was making great progress until i went on a "run" with someone who really can "run"-- i learned really quickly that i HAVE to pace myself!! best of luck to you-- Today i start my 5 min run with 2 min walk intervals-- feeling nervous!0

yay well done! the 3 min runs were make or break for when i first started doing couch to 5k back in may! but i got through it and can now runs 5ks and 10ks! stick with it! you will be running for longer in next to no time!0
