Walking on the beach?

I have spent 2 days on the beach where the sand is really deep - you sink about 3" when you take a step - and then goofing off in the ocean. I was curious if anyone has an idea how I can properly (or fairly close to accurately) record the exercise (unintentional) that I've gotten. I'd love to include it in my exercise journal but I know I burned many more calories than just walking. It was tough work and my calves are sore!

Martie - twice as many as you would burn walking on a firm surface. Hopes this help.0
