So I seem to continuously go over my allotted 35 grams of sugar. I was wondering if other people struggle with this and how they have corrected it.

It looks like to me the ADA recommendation is 25 grams or less of added sugar. How do you determine if the sugar is added or natural (aside from the obvious eating a piece of fruit)

I think the main culprits for me are my breakfast choices (cereal with fruit, WW muffins, fiber one bars...), and my snacks: greek yogurt (usually chobani non fat with fruit), and fresh fruit. Each of these items contains 15-20 grams of sugar so combining any two guarantees I will exceed my daily intake of sugar.

Help!

thank you Mr C there were some helpful posts in there. Sort of what my gut instinct was telling me.

I suppose If I wanted more responses I should have spelled sugar correctly in the subject :embarassed:
