Getting Rid of this belly!

Alright---I have my first real goal. My goal is to get rid of my "hang-over" belly by Christmas (when i travel home and see friends and family for the first time in 4 months). It isn't terribly bad...but enough where it is starting to hang. I have got the basic principals of weight loss down...but anyone have any particular niche for getting rid of belly fat? I tend to gain most of my weight in my midsection.

My trainer has me doing all sorts of crunches (regular, reverse, sides, 'bicycle'). She rotates them from on the ground, to on a ball and today we started to use some of the other gym equipment. I have been with her for about 6 weeks and have just started to notice a difference.
All I can say is to keep it up and make sure that you get some cardio in there as well. I know in the past when i've worked by myself, the first place I notice a difference is in the mid section - and that I credit all to the cardio. Now, with the trainer, I see inches coming off in diffent places - with a large difference in my high waist.... here to hoping that it keeps creeping down farther to the belly!

Clean up your diet. Read up on the eat clean diet, it'll help. Lots of cardio to burn the fat as well as weight training. Stay consistent, and try your best not to cheat. Sorry, no magic tricks. Just discipline.0

You can't spot target the weight loss, unfortunately.
You have to experience overall weight loss to see that go down.
And sometimes it is the last area to get smaller (on women).
I would suggest Power Yoga combined with Pilates. It's an amazing full-body workout and you can find DVDs if you don't have a class near you.0 -
I heard that Jilian michaels 6 weeks abs is good. do a search in topics people have posted pics and talked about it before.0

Diet and cardio have done the trick for me. Unfortunately that is the LAST place I lose weight...0

Ab exercises will tone up the muscles underneath and help pull things in a bit,, but there will still be fat & skin on top of it that won't go away that easily. Unfortunately, a tuck (when you're done) might be what it takes to eliminate it, especially if you've had it for a long time (me too  ).
Losing all over will make an impact, though.0 -
I am pretty young and haven't always been this big so i have confidence that my skin will bounce back.0
