One of my personal goals is to be able to complete P90x without feeling completely out of shape doing so. I know I am no where close to this, as I have just started taking weightloss seriously. I am looking to see if anyone who was over 50+lbs overweight has attempted this exercise. I have attempted the lean plan, and find myself giving up, So I just tread away on the elliptical in hopes of coming back to it someday soon. Also anyone who feels they can support me in this goal please add me as a friend.

I don't think you can complete the P90x and feel out of shape... assuming you complete it.
Others with more experience can probably help you out more, but my approach was to start with the 30DS, then once I have completed that, I think I will be ready to hit P90x. (I am currently on day 8 of the 30DS).0 -
P90X rocks! If you tie in the nutrition guide and go with the lien value, it really works well. Start slow and build up and it rocks. The muscle confusion is really cool!0

30 Day Shred is a good program, but doesn't focus enough on the core. If you're doing 30 Day Shred then I highly recommend that you do the push-ups without the assistance of the knees. P90X has a classic version and a lean version. People that start with the lean version do well to transition to the classic version.0 -

I don't really have any pics. But I started P90X I was around 290 lbs. After my first 3 months I dropped about 35lbs and a few inches off my waist. Pants that use to fit without a belt, are now in the trash! They won't even stay up with a belt!! P90X was amazing! And you will see results if you put in the work0
