Running and Music

I''ve got the idea (I'm sure it's not unique) of downloading music to run to that will match my footfall during the run so that I can better keep a pace. Right now I am jogging at a 5 MPH to 5.2 MPH pace and want to download music that's tempo matches that pace. Anyone know how to convert MPH to BPM (Beats Per Minute)?

An app that went through your iTunes library and logged the BPM for you existing songs would be pretty awesome

There is a free program out there that logs BPM for your entire music library. I tried to one time to single out music with 90 -120 BPM for running. It wasn't "all that" at the time (2-3 years ago). Maybe it's gotten better.

Go to download.com and search for "MixMeister BPM Analyzer". It's free.

While you are at it, just search for "BPM", and it'll list lots of other programs.
