Frustration with Parents!

Hi, I know there a lot of parents here and I need your insight.
My mother is being a nag, saying I look anorexic and that I lack energy and that I should see a doctor. However, I'm in a phase where I'm starting to "bulk", but I must have access to a gym and weights first (in one week). I have no desire to gain fat as of right now. She constantly complains that I look like a starving child, and she doesn't understand the concept of healthy food.
Please help, it's really frustrating when there's nothing I can do about it (it's not like I can eat tons of food and gain fat to make her happy before I start to bulk, because that fat will be so hard to lose without compromising muscle).
Thanks.

How about a simple suggestion, if you're open to it. Take her to the doctor with you and have your body fat checked. Show her that you're in a healthy range and that should get her off your back. I assume (hope!) your mother only has your best interest at heart.0

Keep it simple. Tell your mom that you understand her concern and you will work on putting some more weight on. Which is true, you want to bulk with weights, so you're not lying. Then hopefully you can just leave it at that.
Good luck.

That's another good idea!

Thanks all! I will take up her suggestion to go to the doctor and talk with her.0
