SBF Challenge...Dec 28th

Sure is lonely on the SBF challenge.

Yesterday I did 40 minutes on the cybex and a 35 minute walk - plus lots of errands. Today, more of the same - hopefully with 30 minutes of yoga.

Hope all is ok mm.

    Been busy with the holidays and school...yea no winter break for me! Hope everyone's doing well!

    Mary, I guess the gym and moving stuff went okay yesterday? I'm starting to get jealous of all you people that get to work out! I haven't stepped on the scale as I am afraid to look. I have probably not gained much since all my muscle is turning to flab anyway. :tongue: I wish my jeans were comfortable enough to wear to help keep me in check. They aren't tight but they just aren't comfy to lounge around in. So I have stretchy pants, which are not helping at all!
    I am feeling pretty good today. Things aren't normal by any means but they are getting better. I am going to try to go in for another sonogram tomorrow to make sure the baby is okay. Then on Tuesday I am getting some labs done to make sure I don't have an infection or something. Most of the pain has been in my lower back so Sarah is wondering if I might have a kidney infection. Honestly? I think I just had a period from Hades while being pregnant. We'll see. I won't complain about seeing the baby again! Oh and all my pregnancy symptoms have started returning! That's a very good sign! So I am doing good!
    I need to get off here and get my day started. Yep. I get excited about laying around all day. :tongue:

    I'm baaaack. . . .

    Had a good break (a little too short, maybe) and now I'm trying to figure out how to re-focus myself. I feel myself really wanting to slide into couch kingdom with the cold, gray weather and need to fight that actively. I feel right now that I could sleep for a week (or at least a few days straight) I feel like I need a completely fresh start and attitude. . .

    Today, I'm aiming for a bikram class at 4 (which would be my first time at the studio in two weeks). It's crazy windy and cold today, so the big challenge there will be leaving the house again. That seems to constantly be my big challenge. I actually love to work out, but I hate to go out into the cold. The consolation of bikram is that I get to get really, really warm, so I'm hoping that motivates me.

    I'm not sure I want to share my couch kingdom with anyone. I am kind of liking being Queen of the couch. :laugh:

    Only exercise to day is shoveling off my deck. Too slippery out to do much of anything else. Too much Christmas food hanging around and I willpower poor lately. Don't want to get on the scales! Great to hear from everyone else. Have a happy new year. I just plan on laying low for it. I'm all holidayed out. lol

    Hi, everyone. I haven't had much to report. I got a Polar F55 heart rate monitor for Christmas that I've been playing with. It has been kind of freaking me out. The first time I used it, it had me burning an insane number of calories. I did some tinkering with my settings, and the calories burned came down some, but were still kind of high. So now I don't know what to list for my exercise calories, so I haven't done my food or exercise diaries since Christmas. I'm doing a spin class in the morning, and I'm hoping the numbers will be reasonable so that I feel I can trust the numbers. If they are still off the charts, I will call customer service. The heartrate part is right on target with the numbers on the various workout machines I use.

    Back to work tomorrow for a couple of days, then a couple of days off, then my office gets a new boss, and we will find out what kind of changes we will have in organization.
