I just started a few days ago and pretty much understand how it is supposed to work. I am having no trouble eating all my net calories and my exercise ones too. The problem I am having is trying to stay within the allowed amount for both protein and fiber, especially the protein. The amount allowed seems really low. I use up most of them before I even get to dinner even though I have plenty of calories left. I have seen a couple of post that say your daily intake of protein should not be less than 100g. If that is true, then why is mine set at about 1/2 that? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks

MFP is really kind of low for protein. I always go over and I think its totally fine, as long as the protein you are eating is lean. If you were eating like 3 times the amount, it might be a problem. But your body really needs the protein, especially when you are working out. Its what heps your body build lean muscle. I also go over on my fiber most days...but to be honest, I dont know how that affects you. I just know it has not hurt me in any way at all.

if that is the areas that are over!!! I would not worry to much about it! More protein is good! Especially if you are working out, your body needs it!!!!

Fibre is fibre! You should be good!
