Well! I blew it over Christmas... I new I would. I didn't have access to MFP, my parents don't diet, and I missed holiday food. I gained 2.2 lbs. Ugh! How did you guys fair? any better? or worse??

Did you adjust your ticker to show any holiday weight gain??? :blushing:

Hi ya:flowerforyou: Well I can respond to part of you question.. lol I don't do Holidays so didn't deal with any sort of gain.... but regarding the ticker... you'll hear two stands on adjusting tickers...

*Some change them everytime they have a gain... from what others have shared in regards to this...they changed it each time their weight does because the feel they are 'cheating' if they don't.... I don't feel it's cheating to not drop mine, this is all about me and my journey....not so much what my ticker says one day or the next.. so we have varied opions on this .....

*Some don't change them when they have a gain because it feels like a defeat..and the last thing we need to give ourselves is a sense of defeat....gaining weight can come from many reasons...not just Holiday indulgences...PMS etc...so no I don't change mine I already know if I go up a lb or two so I only drop it down in lbs.

I say do what feels right to you:drinker: ...Holiday or not.. if seeing an increase on your ticker will send you in to a binge...well, maybe better not to change it....if putting the increase on it motivates you then...go for it!

Hth...... probably a way bigger response than you had been looking for?  :flowerforyou:

  • I say give yourself a week.

If your wieght is not back to where it was then adjust....
but who knows maybe you'll find its even less!

Just keep at it! We are all here for you!
