For those ladies that are fit...

I have a question for those ladies that are in a considerably better shape than when they started. When you get fit and much more active, does your TOM change? Do your symptoms change? How are the PMS symptoms, like bloating, fatigue, water retention? Did you notice any differences?

When I first started doing intense exercise, I noticed that TOM was MIA for a couple of months. It returned to normal, though. I was told that it was just my body reacting to the stimuli that I was giving it. When I was not on the pill, which I recently took myself off of it because of some unwanted side effects so I noticed it this month as well, I still bloat and retain water. The pill reduced that, but not how fit I was. I have noticed that I have much less cramping. In fact, when I continue to exercise regularly, I don't get cramps at all. That's why it is important for me to mark on the calendar when TOM will be around cause I don't have that "warning sign" anymore. I still have monthly fatigue, but I think that's just due to hormonal changes anyway so something like that won't completely go away anyway.

And just for background, I started out at around 191 pounds, size 18/20, and unable to do 1 push-up correctly...at my smallest I was 128 pounds, size 6, and doing 60 push-ups military style in under 1 minute. I've gained some back since then, but still wear a size 8 and can knock out the push-ups.

Oh...one more thing and so so sorry if it is TMI, but during TOM, the flow seems to be lighter nowadays compared to when I was bigger.

I have found that the bloating is less, but all the rest is the same!
