Love this topic title. They are two of my favourite things!

Here's my strategy. I LOVE maple syrup, and because it is natural and full of lots of vitamins and minerals, I have a little of it every day. A teaspoon or so is not high cal. And NOTHING tastes as good as maple syrup, in my opinion.

Nutella, however much I love it, is highly processed, and more importantly I CANNOT control myself around it. A jar just does not survive in my house. I EAT IT ALL. So, its off my shopping list and I get my chocolate kick in other ways (melting some dark chocolate, for example)

Sorry, I know that wasn't exactly what you were asking, but I feel your pain with these two foods!

You can order sf maple syrup from the US. I get orders from USAfoods.com but unsure if they deliver to the UK.

If you search this site for a recipe by accountant_boi posted about 6 months ago. It was an all natural nutella. Not exactly low cal but all natural so no preservatives or anything.

I made this once and pretty much ate the whole lot so I didn't make it again  (same reason I don't buy nutella anymore!)
