    I do it by using a photo hosting site, such as photobucket. You sign up, upload the pictures from your computer, and it gives you a link you can use here to display the photo in the forums and such. :)

    I use Flickr because I do a lot of photography and pay annually for unlimited bandwidth and space(there is a free account that limits your monthly uploads) but I think photobuckets is much more manageable by newbies to photo sharing that way. :)

    The nice thing about Flickr is that you upload full size files and then you can chose your size when its needed smaller but I keep full size back up on my favorites. It gives me a 3rds back up option to not lose every photo in the event of a computer crash that takes my hard drive with it.
