Is 30 Day Shred enough?

I'm to the point now where I only have 10 lb. or so left to lose. I recently decided to give the 30 Day Shred DVD a try, but that doesn't burn enough calories per day and is only about a 30 minute workout (whereas I normally workout for an hour). Do you think 30 Day Shred alone would help me drop these last few pounds or do you think I should incorporate another type of (30 minute) workout into my day so that I burn the number of calories I'm supposed to burn?

That seems like a stupid question, but I only ask because I see so many people drop weight just fine doing 30-45 minute high-intensity workouts instead of a longer workout. I'm just not sure what to do. Losing weight in the beginning was so much easier. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!

i have about the same left to lose.. i didn't feel accomplished with just the 30DS, so i just supplemented my regular cardio routine with it.
  • 30DS will help you tone more. so even if you dont go down the whole 10, it'll look like it.
  • I, also, have been debating this very topic. I own the 30 day shred DVD as well. I've used it as a stand alone workout but never actually done the 30 day shred. I've never felt that it was that much of a workout as I am used to working out for an hour as well.

I think if you did the 30 day shred for a half an hour a day as recommended, and then 3x a week did some high intensity cardio intervals, that maybe that would do the trick.

Also, sticking to your diet plan 100% would be crucial. I usually like to do extra cardio for any mistakes I have in my diet, or if I want to have more calories available for stuff like wine and those brownies my husband made :)
