What if my new scales are out...?

I bought new digital scales today. The ones I have are really consistent but they are mechanical and I'm closing in on my target weight so wanted something more accurate. I bought WeightWatcher scales today but I've bought new scales before and they were several pounds out compared to my old ones. If these ones are off the mark, would you re-set your weight to the new scales? Continue, taking into account the difference in weight - no point in having the new ones then. Or would you take the new ones back to the shop and persevere with the mechanical/consistent ones which only measure in pounds and not ounces?

I have the same problem - my weight varies by as much as 5-6 pounds depending on the scale. I don't think I've ever found any consistency between scales.0

The scales upstairs in my gym always weight me about 4 lb heavier than the ones downstairs... It's weird.0
