Help needed....weight loss tips...

Can anyone please help me...I need a diet or something that ACTUALLY WORKS...I'm getting very down in the dumps, its only a stone and a half i need to loose but just cannot seem to shift even a pound!! I do plenty of exercise but dont eat well at all! My problem is I am sooo fussy with food any diets seem sooo hard to stick to or hard to find things i can stomach!
Please please please any help will be so much appreciated!

Are you tracking your calories? What are you eating when you say you don't eat well. Being fussy is one thing but it's not imposible to overcome. What you do have to be ready to do though is make a change in your life (not just go on a diet for a few weeks). Help us understand what it is that you like to eat and what you don't like to eat and I'm betting the fine people on this forum will be able to help you find healthy alternatives that you can not only stomach but actually enjoy.
I'm a firm believer that trying to lose weight by giving up certain foods is a recipe for disaster. It simply doesn't work. You just need to find a way to work in the foods you like in a more healthy fashion. Portion control is important too. Making sure you don't eat too much of the foods you like and instead sticking to appropriate portions can make a big difference.0 -
Well you're on here, so that's a good start!! When I came on here I originally only wanted to lose 12lb but this site made it seem so painless that I have since lost 12 more and now I'm on my positively last 7lbs.
Try to stick to the calories that MFP allow you and log all your exercise, that way you can eat more!

I try to track my calories most days but some days i cannot face recording my intake because i no how awful it will be! My calorie intake is set at 1410 i tink and im generally under that when i do record my intake but over on fat or whatever!
I am addicted to crisps, used to eat 3, 4 5 packets a day now am down to 1 or 2, choc im not too bad with! Fast food is a tough one to avoid for me, i do love a take away! I eat lots of chicken and carbs such as potato, pasta rice etc! I dont like fish of any sort apart from battered cod from chip shop lol i dont like nuts or pulses!
I basically dont like anything healthy LOL!!
I think im finding it so hard as before when i lost 4 st i never tried, never changed my eating habits just literally lost my appetite totally where as now i am sooo hungry and my eating habits are and addiction more so then me actually being hungry!! Not good! I quit smoking 7 months ago and never found it so hard lol!0 -
