I have on!!! I like it... If I am cycling and trying to hit a certain speed, it helps me to stay on track. I can also keep track of how far I have gone. I have a CatEye wireless computer -- It is a few years old but I would equate it to something like this http://www.cateye.com/en/products/detail/CC-MC100W/0

Cadence monitors are better for you than looking at pure speed. Depending on the type of cycling you do, you should be aiming for keeping your rpms above 90 on the flats and downhills and in the high 60s mid-70's uphill. You may find you actually go faster by focusing on cadence rather than speed. It's a good way to keep up your speed without overexerting yourself, allowing you to ride longer. The CatEye CD300DW Wireless Cyclocomputer has gotten good reviews for performance, but the instructions are difficult to follow. Since you are only setting it up once, this shouldn't make you not buy it.0
