Yes, you. Over there. The one behind the computer screen.
Stop it. Stop being unhappy with yourself, because in all honesty? You are perfect.
Stop wishing that you looked like someone else or that people would like you as much as they like someone else. Stop trying to get attention from those who hurt you. Stop hating your body, your face, your personality, your quirks.
Love them.
Love them because without them you wouldn't be you, and why would you want to be anyone else? Be confident. Smile, it'll draw people in. And if doesn't draw them in at least you have the satisfaction of knowing that you made them wonder what you're up to.
If anyone throws hate at you because you are happy with yourself, smile and say, "Screw You. My happiness will not depend on others. My happiness will depend on the fact that I love myself. I love who I am. I love my flaws, my imperfections. They make me me. And 'me' is pretty amazing."
You know it's true.

That got me right in the Heart
I have always went with what everyone has told me . That i'm to fat to do this or that or that person said he want to be with you if you would lose some weight.. Well that was me years ago but now i don't have to listen to anyone but myself..( Well hubby now ..lol..) Hubby supports in this and i'm supporting him in this too ...
Thanks for the inspiration for me to keep moving on..0 -
You don't have to love yourself the way you are RIGHT NOW. You just need to love the best version of yourself, and you need to truly believe that with dedication and patience, you can get there.
I sure as hell don't love the jiggly fat on my belly, but once that's all gone (and replaced with nice muscle tones), I'll be very happy with my body, despite my disproportionately short legs or my stretch marks.
Same with my personality. I'm a firm believer that one should always work on their flaws. If I loved my tendency to procrastinate, how could I ever improve? I want to become a better version of myself. I'll never stop wanting that (as there will always be room for improvement, no matter how much I improve), and I'll never stop pushing myself. That's different from wanting to be someone else.0 -

Thank you for those words. Today has been one of those rock bottom days where I've been telling myself the worst things ever. And this is turning it around.
Thank you.0 -

Hmm. Interesting thoughts. Still, I think there's a difference between recognising flaws and blind hatred. It's the attitude of 'I'm not good enough because of x' that caused me to post this. It confuses me because there are so many wonderful, beautiful people out there who just don't like themselves and are constantly putting themselves down.
I don't think that everyone should say 'I love me!' and stop trying to improve. Far from it. Working to improve yourself- be it physically or mentally- is the ultimate in self love and I highly advocate it.
But I think I can love who I am now and still work to be a better me (who I will continue to love, just in different ways).
Hope you have a great day.0
