Hi all. I haven't used the boards here, but I've been an MFP member for about 2 months or so. This is me:
- I'm 28, single, female.
- Great at short-term dieting / exercising. Lost 45 pounds in about 6 months!
- Great at keeping track in the morning, give up when I realize I'm going to go over my calories.
- Great for two - four weeks in a row of buying only groceries, not eating out, etc.
Currently:
- In a rut. Gained back 5 pounds in this past month. Stopped exercising.
- On a daily Starbucks 'binge.' There go 600 breakfast calories, and $8 dollars.... daily!
- I'm a morning person, but due to a new job (which I don't like), I'm up later, and work later. I notice that I eat a lot at night.
- No gym membership currently, don't know where to join in the Washington D.C. suburbs / new to the area, not many friends.
I have a dog who loves to exercise. I carry my weight in my gut, so I find jogging and biking pretty annoying. I take my dog to the dog park, and I recently started going to the couch.
I've done Weight Watchers (woo, 45 pounds down), but stopped liking it. I tried this, did okay for a few weeks, then took a dive off the bandwagon. It seems that my willpower broke up with me, because I haven't seen him since the dive.
I have an inner athlete, but I don't know where and what to do to bring 'er out! Ask to friend me, I'll accept! Looking for some kind of inner drive to come out so I can drop another 100 pounds....!

You should find an at home program that you enjoy. If you ever decide to do anything like TurboFire or TurboJam, I'll totally do it with you (virtually). You can and will meet your fitness goals! Go for it!!! Friend me,0

If you do join a gym look for one that also offers classes (included in the membership fee of course). I LOVE mine. When i get bored working out there are tons of classes right at my fingertips.. My favorite is the deep water running class...Good luck!!0

I live in the DC area and would be happy to send you a friend request. I recently joined planet fitness because they're cheap and close to my house but I that Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission offers classes to those who live in PG and Montgomery County. I'll do my best to help motivate you.0

Welcome to the boards! Woot! Feel free to add me as a friend, if you'd like.
That inner athlete just needs to find what she loves! Congrats on the big 45 win. You can totally do the rest.0
