Mushrooms taste like erasers to me. Broccoli is like eating grass. Does anything one else have the problem that occasionally everything leaves an aftertaste of soap in their mouth? This happens to me occasionally. Any one know the cause?
    you've eaten erasers? interesting

I really don't like oatmeal. I have tried it, instant, flavored, old fashioned whatever. The only way I like oatmeal is in a cookie and I use it in my meatloaf too instead of breadcrumbs.

I LOVE EVEYTHING!! Alas - I wish there was something I didn't like but there just isn't. And even though I am a vegetarian that is due to my fondness for animals rather than a dislike for meat - when my boyfriend cooks a steak my mouth drools...just a little...maybe enough to wet my sleeve...mmmmmmmm

does alka-seltzer count as a food? that stuff is NASTY.. XP

mumzy never allowed for picky eaters, so i eventually grew to like everything i ate when i was a kid.i will say im not a big fan of butterscotch or coffee, though. neither taste, no matter what the medium just never really sat well with me.

    anything made by little debbie
I thought I was the only one. I can't stand these things. It works out well b/c my husband can have them in the house for his treats, and I won't touch them. Not a single variety.

    Other foods I hate:
    brussels sprouts
    asparagus
    oysters
    beets
    melon
    cantaloupe
    anchovies

peas.. i hate em unless it's split pea soup.

how can you hate celery? It doesn't have a taste. Was just meant to be a holder for peanut butter and hummus.

What does hummus taste like? I almost bought some the other day but then I decided not to because I really didn't know what to do with it.

I get the roasted garlic (there are different kinds and easy to make) and it tastes like roasted garlic. It's creamy without dairy or sugar. Very few calories. It's great.

Hummus is actually pretty high in calories. It's beans, seeds and olive oil. All healthy, but all high calorie. But it is very tasty!

    Brussel Sprouts
    Asparagus :frown:
    Beets :noway:

I hate these foods too. I tried cooking brussel sprouts last week and I had to throw out the entire pot. YUCK!!! Who can stomach that!!

Cooking them in a pot is the problem. I thought I hated Brussel sprouts for the first 50 years of my life. But it turns out I just hate them cooked in a pot. Steamed, boiled, sauted, it's all bad. But toss them in some olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder and roast them in the oven and they have a whole different taste and texture. They are now my very favorite veggie.

    Here's my list:
Cottage cheese (it's a consistency thing)
    pickles of any kind
    jello
olives (unless they're chopped up and disguised in something good)
I don't care for celery either, but I can choke it down!
