Does anyone know how long after a test will show that you are pregnant?:tongue:

    I took a Clear Blue Easy when I was 3 days late for my period (four years ago). It turned in an instant to PREGGERS!!!!!!!. I'm sure not everyone will have that same story...

    I took the clear blue easy one day after missed, and it was accurate!

    i think they are accurate as much as 4 days before you are due TOM

    I took clear blue too, with my youngest (now 11), with only being 2 days late - it was positive, but I still did another 2 tests before I believed it :blushing: :laugh:

    Do you mean how long after you pee on the stick or how long after you're due for a period? My advice for timing with a period is try not to do it before you're at least a day late. The "early" ones work like 80something% of the time, but not always & you'll just drive yourself nuts peeing on stuff (believe me, I've been there more times than I care to admit!). If you're talking about peeing on the stick, I think it is like 3 minutes for most & then they are null & void after 10 minutes. The packaging should say for sure. (*whispers* Good luck!)

    I took 3 store tests, 2 doctors pee tests and they all came back Negative. I took my mom to lunch for her birthday and she asked when I was going to tell her I was pregnant. Couldn't have been because I ordered almost everything on the menu :devil: but I told her why she asked. She said I was "glowing" I told her that the doctor says no, but I was pretty sure. She took me to her doctor the next day. I explained that I keep getting told no and the tests are showing Negative. She then asked if they ever tested my blood. Nope they sure hadn't. Needless to say, blood work came back POSITIVE and I was 9 weeks along.....that was almost 18 years ago....

    When I was pregnant with Harley, my period was due Jan 6th. I took a test New Year's Eve (to see if I could drink :laugh: ) and it came back negative. (Luckily I only had 2 1/2 drinks.) On Jan 6th, I took one and it was positive. (I took a 2nd just to make sure.)

    So funny. I took one with my first on Thanksgiving (to see if I could drink) and with my second on St. Patrick's day (ummm...same reason). LOL No drinking for me with either one. had to tolerate my family sober. HA!

    With my son, we "stopped being careful" in late Feb of 2006. I think it was a few days after Valentine's Day that we began the process.

    I took a First Response test on March 20th and it was positive.

    Yup. Fertile myrtle with that one! :blushing: :bigsmile:

    God knew what he was doing since the baby doesn't actually start sharing your blood until after two weeks of conception (or five weeks into pregnancy by doctor standards), so we can act like we have not a care in the world until the lack of TOM tells us otherwise. Hey, I had a friend who told me alcohol was the cause of their pregnancy (protection, what, where), plus a little help from their husband. :blushing:
