Those who stood out in the week 4 numbers that have checked in so far...

(I was supposed to be the one with the biggest loss this week but I skipped over myself because I just lost the weight I put on immediately after surgery  )
ciara19................................with a loss of 4lbs last week!
ciara19................................with a loss of 2.78% of her total weight over the last week!
greenstars.gif
growlingatyou................................with a loss of 11lbs the last 4 weeks!
growlingatyou................................with a loss of 4.42% of her total weight over the last 4 weeks!

And congrats to EVERYONE who checked in for losing a combined 28.9lbs this WEEK and 120.1lbs for the challenge so far!

I moved the additional people down off of the chart because I haven't received weigh-ins from them in 3 consecutive weeks. If you are one of these people, I'll put you right back on the chart as soon as you update me on your weight. :flowerforyou:

    Nicely done ladies!

I've started my half marathon training this week and doing good so far. Trying to think about it as each day and not by 'holy crap, I'm actually gonna do 13.1miles someday STRAIGHT', some days are better than others..

My goals are gonna be the same here on out. Stick to my training, slowly increasing my speed and run time. Keep up the water and try to keep the scale down, though soon I won't even pay attention to it.

    Keep at it, doing good!

And Rach, I  you for all that you do, even if you've had a 'minor' set back. :flowerforyou:

Good job this week ladies!! Even if you didn't lose (that group includes me, btw), staying accountable is important too. And, just like they say at the casino: A push is a win!

Last night was my annual dinner with some of my college girlfriends at The Melting Pot, and this weekend the BF and I will be heading to his parents (and the NY State Fair) for the holiday, so I will need to work hard the remainder of this week so as not to see an increase come next week.

Hope the remainder of the week is great for all of you and that you all enjoy the holiday weekend!!

Yay! I was third this week!!!!! Now if I can only keep that up, I'll officially get off this darn plateau. (I've really been hovering around 240 for a while now)

Good job ladies, keep working hard!

Great job ladies! I can't believe it's already September.

My goals for this week are more water, staying above a net of 1300 each day (MFP says 1200, but this last month of Turbo Fire has been leaving me ravenous), and cycling another 10 miles this week.

Rach- thank you so much for doing this!!! And I hope you are starting to feel better!!

This weekend is my sisters bachelorette party, we are staying at a house in wine country... Gonna try and stay accountable while there. I haven't decided yet if I am going to bring my scale with me so I can weigh in on Monday or if I will weigh in Tuesday.

My goals are to work out at least 2 more times before weigh in. Drink enough water. Stay under my calories and to log everything that goes in my mouth (and weigh... I've been doing a lot more guessing lately)... I'm so close to being out of the 200's!!! I haven't been that weight since probably 2001!!! And my sisters wedding is just a few weeks away!

Way to go everyone!! Keep up the good work. Nothing planned this weekend..wanted to take the bf out cuz he's been sick and now his car broke down..it has been a rough week for him....I will make sure if we do go out, I eat healthy! :-) Have a great day! :-)
  • This weekend I have my cousins 18th birthday, her dad always makes southern bbq, and then and end of the summer bbq on sunday a sort of folky jam session thing, and my boy is playing a show so I get to practice being the sober one all weekend and only eating one plate of food. I have always had the problem that if it is delicious I will eat until I cant move, this philosophy served me well with my amazing metabolism until the kid came and now I have to watch what I eat. Wish me Luck in my self control.

I'd figured with AF coming just after week 3's weigh-in, I'd be better this week than the last two (bloat before and during, right?) No. not only did I not lose the bloat weight, but I'm now up to 205.2. I'm just so damn disheartened and I don't even know where to start anymore. I watch and count, I don't lose weight. I don't watch or count, I don't lose weight. I work out like a madwoman, I gain weight. I don't work out like a madwoman, I gain weight. I'm just so sick and tired of all this. I haven't done anything but gain in the last FIFTEEN weeks. I admit, three or so of the past weeks have been crap for tracking, but I've been deliberately walking everywhere and hauling my toddler with me for added resistance (in the stroller, I'm not just dragging him along by the hair or anything XD ) and yet, here I am.

    Just so frustrated, and not seeing the point anymore. No matter what I do, I hit the scale at greater-than-or-equal-to, so why on earth would I want to drag out of bed early to work out if sleeping sees the same result? ;.;

Hang in there Miriam, I know you must be incredibly frustrated. The scale can be downright evil at times. Have you taken measurements? Sometimes you'll see a change there but not on the scale, especially when you are doing a lot of exercise. Sometimes you need to change things up, either in your diet or exercise to get the weight coming off again. Weight training helps me lose inches, but makes the scale go up a bit. Just don't give up because you can beat this. We're here for you!
  • weighing in at 142, after about three weeks of no budge I have lost a pound the last two weeks. I am super happy about that because I was about to lose my mind that the scale kept yoyoing and being so mean now if I can just keep this up.
