so to begin with i will have to tell u a few things about me for my question to make sense. okay?? so first off i was born with a booty. lol not fat but muscle. ive had problems with jeans my whole life. when i was a kid i was a very strange kid i liked to work out, run, play soccer etc. which built up my leg muscles you would think this would be good but by the time i was in HighSchool and they made us work out of course i was a size 9 but i had to wear a size 11 or 13 to fit my crazy azz manly leg muscles and my huge rear. so i had two kids and didnt lose any muscle didnt gain fat in my legs and butt either just around the middle and hips . so when i started to lose weight (about a month ago) i was a size 13 to 15 depending on the jeans. ive lost 16 lbs in all and im still the same size so my question to you is once ive lost my goal weight of about 50 lbs more am i just going to look funny and not be able to wear jeans?? hay i mean if i got to my goal weight i wouldnt mind wearing dresses and skirts but i love jeans. also is there a way to lose muscle without gainng fat or not moving??? i have a weird effin body i know
IM SORRY ABOUT MY SPELLING ITS MY PHONES AUTO CORRECT PREDICT SETTING THT I CANT TURN OFF <---- that took like 5 min to get it semi correct

its hard to read what you're typing honestly and what the question is0

i think she means once she loses weight, will her waist size be too small for her leg size that it would be difficult to buy jeans.0

I don't know if there is a way to safely lose muscle or not. My sister has big leg muscles too, and it has always bothered her when buying jeans, or even knee high boots.0

Helo! Reading you blog is like reading my own story..CRAZY!!! My numbers and goals are even the same!!! I don't have an aswer for you :-( Sorry, but I do feel your pain0

If your question is "how do I spot reduce muscle in the butt and legs" -- I don't think you can.0

You're difficult to understand, is English your second language or do you just like to type weird?
Please re-post, using real words from the English language.

I think you'll probably lose muscle as you lose weight so it probably wont be as much an issue as you think it will.
So far for me all my weight loss has come off my legs and bum, none from my waist yet. Ofcourse it's different for us all but i think you are unlikely to lose weight and none of it be from muscle.0 -
I have the same problem with jeans...to fit my hips and thighs, I have to go bigger in the waist. I just found an alterations place that is good, fast, and inexpensive to alter my jeans for me. Also, if you buy the lower rise it helps with the gap you get in the back. Just please make sure your butt crack doesn't hang out, because that's disgusting.
If you're going to post, you might spell correctly...your post was kinda tough to get through.0 -
Unfortunately we are all born with a basic shape, thats genetics for you. When you lose weight your problem will not change ,you will be a lower size but shape will stay the same, but personally I think its much better to carry muscle instead of fat for all the obvious reasons.0

This is so wrong if you lose muscle that s not the right way to lose weight and if you keep your calorie intake above the lowest recommendation you will and should only lose fat.Thats the only healthy way to do it.0 -
Just make sure you eat your exercise calories back. I think that is what you were asking(?).0

Here is the question:
so my question to u is once ive lost my goal weight of about 50 lbs more am i just going to look funny and not be able to wear jeans??
I wouldn't think you would look funny. My legs were big from muscle, but maybe there is fat in-between pieces of muscle, because my legs are still thinning a bit.0 -

I didn't say that is what people should aim for i'm just saying i'm not sure and note i'm not even saying i know for a fact (becuase i don't) that you don't lose some muscle when trying to lose weight. I'm talking about ordinary people who aren't pumping themselves full of protien and doing loads of weights all the time.0 -
You may not look like a supermodel or something when you get to a healthy weight, but you won't look funny unless you're wearing a clown costume. There are plenty of jeans out there that fit your body style - you're just going to have to go on the hunt for them. Love the shape you're made, because you don't get to choose a new one.0

I have large, muscular thighs and calves. I've already lost several inches in my waist and hips but my thighs are stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. I've found jeans that are a size smaller in the waist then the hips, with a relaxed fit in the thighs and I love the way they fit. Eddie Bauer carries them and I think Target now has a similar fit, as well.0
