Hello everyone and welcome to the SEPTEMBER MILES CHALLENGE!!!
***Once again, there will be a slight change this month. Since we are getting a late start, everyone must come with their own team! I will not be assigning teams. Feel free to recruit within this thread or on your own. Teams must consist of FOUR members with one of those members serving as the captain.
****THE CHALLENGE WILL OFFICIALLY START SEPTEMBER 1ST****
AUGUST MILES PARTICIPANTS: You may keep your original teammates if you choose. If you're missing people start recruiting!
NEWBIES AND NEW TEAMS ARE WELCOME!
--Anyone interested in joining the challenge can recruit right here in the thread or on your own. You will need four people to complete a team.
--If you have an existing team, have your captain post your team name and it's members so I know who you are.
--I will post all team names and their members on Sunday, September 4 (probably first thing in the morning, or late in the evening....Eastern Standard Time, US) so we all know who's in and who's out.
--New teams must choose a captain and pick a team name. Existing teams take precedence so be original and try not to use the name of an already existing team. I will moderate as best I can.
RULES: (keeping the same as August)
1. Each team must elect a captain and choose a team name. You will coordinate with your captain how you will report your miles to them (message, email, private thread, etc).
2. TEAM CAPTAINS will post current mileage totals twice a week: Mondays and Thursdays.

We will be using THIS formula to give every person/team credit for their miles:
TEAM NAME
Miles as of <DATE>:
TEAMMATE 1 - 1 miles
TEAMMATE 2 - 2 miles
TEAMMATE 3 - 3 miles
TEAMMATE 4 - 4 miles
Total TEAM NAME miles - 10 Miles
Some things to keep in mind:
It's basically like every other challenge we've done so far except you're only keeping track of YOUR miles and adding them to YOUR TEAM.
It's just for fun so don't worry about "bringing your team down", this is all just encouragement to keep everyone moving their bodies!

I would love to do this!! But Im a newbie, so if someone needs another, let me know! I walk/jog about 15miles/per week! So my goal would be 60+ miles!!0

Hi, I'd like to join The Runaways!
