OT: Went A Little Crazy Today!

So the day started out normal....THEN i decided
"hey ill treat my self today".....ut oh!!!
we went to Red Robin...
and enjoyed french fries and a cheeseburger and diet coke
(which ill never eat like that again...my stomach cant handle it)
then we headed to the mall where the real trouble started
i saw victoria secrets semi anual sale
where we spent 400dollars on my new bras and panties
i then saw charlotte russe sale
where we spent 250dollars on jeans and shirts/sweaters and shoes
i then stumbled upon the sale at wet seal
where we spent 200dollars on scarfs and shoes and dresses and jackets
and then we went to the gap and spent 190dollars on more clothes for me
im very implusive when i shop and i had not been buying clothes
i had one maybe two pairs of jeans in my current size
yes i plan on losing more
but my boyfriend said
why not dress the way you want
you deserve to wear the cute little clothes you worked so hard to fit
and it was his treat!
and i think he was making up for the fast that last month
he spent 2300 on clothes for himself
he is pretty "metro" and shops like i do
but he can actually afford it
anyways i feel like everyone here at MFP are my friends
and i was so excited i had to share!

I can't personally do impulse buying what with kids and hubby and all (oh the guilt), but I do believe that the way you dress can sometimes affect the way you eat. I notice when I wear a frumpy outfit, I eat like I'm wearing a frumpy outfit (where are my cookies?) But if I wear an outfit I feel looks good on me and I'm having a "wow, you're looking good" day (not many of those lately though), then I tend to eat for the outfit. And I'm all about having nice clothes for the under clothes too. And not necessarily to impress any guy (although my husband appreciates me getting rid of thread-born bras and underwear), but sexy underwear, even if no one sees it can make you feel sexy. Usually every year around my birthday I go through my underwear drawer, throw out anything that isn't holding its own, and buy myself two new sets. Makes me remember that being old isn't being frumpy.
So congrats to you. Sounds like you guys had a blast. These after-Christmas sales are killer. Enjoy. If you got it baby, flaunt it!!!0 -

Oh I am so jealous! :blushing: That is totally awesome! My hubby told me that if I get down to my goal weight he would buy me a whole new cute set of clothes! :bigsmile: Of course he has been saying that for years and I am still way overweight!:sad: I am awful! :grumble: Congrats on the weight loss and cute clothes! i just discovered tj maxx a few weeks ago
my friend took me and i was so mad
i paid alot of money for this scarf at nordstroms
and the same exact scarf at tj maxx for like tenbucks
and im even more mad now.....cause i forgot about that store untill now!
sure ill take you shopping...i mean my boyfriend will!
i just found out hes working ten over time days next month
he worked xmas eve and xmas and now newyears and newyears eve
plus his ten overtime days!
so he will def have the money to take you and me shopping!0 -

my boyfriend is ....well he dosent ever really say much about my weight loss unless i bring it up and its usually "lookin good keep it up" or "thats awesome" so for him to take me shopping and say that was like WHAT?!?! he usually tells me yeah you need to work out more you would look okay at 180 but hopefully you can lose more
