I'm thinking tonight that after my 1 hour water aerobics class I'll head upstairs and do some weights for at least 1/2 an hour. Is that too much for one day? I did about 45 minutes of weights last night and don't feel any pain today for once. I've hit a plateau and wand to get over this damn hump. What do you think?

If you aren't sore, I say go for it!! Maybe you could work different muscle groups. Or at least do some different exercises.

If you have the time and energy, why not?

I'd try it and see what happens. You won't know if you don't! Im a "push myself" by nature, so Im all for it!

Well, everything I've heard and read says that you should only do weight training max every other day, so I try to stick to that.

If you lifted yesterday.. no. Well at least not the same muscle groups. Your muscles still need to recover even if you cant feel it

I say go for it, you never know what you're capable of unless you push yourself. About a month ago, I decided to do Bodypump (60 minutes of full-body weight lifting) and then do a 60-min Bodystep class right after. I completely ran out of steam about halfway through the Bodystep class...no energy and could barely finish. But I flopped and panted my way to the end. I bet it would be much easier now.
