What kind of music revs you up while exercising?

I personally love anything beyonce, her album 4 particularly *end of time* is on hardcore repeat for the last month or so and of course I listen while exercising. I also have been listening to reggaeton and dancehall music. Earbleeds for some but I love 808's, high hats and loads of bass. So inquiring minds want to know what gets your muscles burning while going against a good burn?

this is going to sound really bad coming from an old lady but this morning I wanted to stop in the middle of exercising I was just tired and I have songs on my iphone from my hubby and I started looking around for something different than what I normally listen to and let me tell you.....Bia Bia by Lil Jon the words are horrible but the beat is fantastic and the parts where they are saying...get'em up, push'em up get'em up...I used that as motivation and let me tell you, that got me started, hey it worked...LOL then went on to Trey songs Bottoms up and put them on repeat.0

It depends on my mood for the day, but for most of the summer, it was lots of the same (Beyonce's "4") and also lots of Lady Gaga. Lately though, I've been using a mix with metal. (Yes, my music tastes are very eclectic:ohwell: ). Old Ozzy and Pantera always rev me up when I'm exercising.0

depends on my mood...Shakira, beyonce, Pitbull, Christina Aquilara, and then there's times..I like Chris Daughtry, Lincoln Park, Avril Lavigne, and of course Antebellum!! I'm all over the place..haha..but if I'm tense or stressed..totally in to the Rock! lol0

For me, it's usually some sort of upbeat hip hop. Though lately, when I do my C25k, what gets me through the long runs are some kick a** songs like Rob Zombie, Rollin' by Limp Bizkit, etc, or Korn. Lol. I also like to listen to Chutney music (Caribbean style).0

My mind blocks out sound when I work out. I've tried working out to music, but it causes me to lose focus (I'm thinking of lyrics rather than the "mind/muscle" connection that makes an exercise more effective). The only time I use music is when I instruct my cardio kickboxing classes. Then it's OLD SCHOOL!0
