Am I eating enough or too much?

Just wondering. Someone said I am not eating enough calories, 1,500 calories and I weigh 276. She said I could be putting my body in starvation mode. Just wondering if someone could look at my food diary and tell me what you think?

Looks like you're set to 1300 cals/day; it might be reasonable, although personally I would want more :) You are keeping your diary well and seem to be hitting the numbers so that's good.

Do make sure you don't dip below that 1300 though.

    blessings.

Unfortunately, no one will be able to tell you what your body needs calorie-wise. You'll have to do trial and error until you hit on the right number for you. Don't be afraid to play around with the numbers - the calories MFP gives you isn't set in stone. It is a starting point. From there, you just have to adjust until you figure out what your body wants. :)

 It does take some trial and error to find the right number of calories, but the most important thing is to make sure that the calories you consume are nourishing your body---you might want to look into cutting back on sodium filled foods and add more vegetables, fruits, complex carbs, and lean meat. And the more active you are, the more calories and more nutrition you need.

Last time I lost weight, I was set at 1250 calories and was not losing. I then upped my calories to around 1450 and only ate back half my calories. I lost 25lbs in about 3months.
This time around, MFP set me at 1660 (I gained 30+) and I was not losing any weight. I just lowered my goal to 1400 and am hoping that will get me back on track.
