I was just in the store buying some spinach and mushrooms. Standing in line, I noticed a magazin with Dr. Oz in it. It said loose 37 lbs this month. Of course, I went Waaaaa...............I was going to buy it but it was a womans mag. Anybody know what this is about.

I actually watched this episode on television. Certain blood types better eating certain foods, BUT they talked about how you won't be getting all the nutrients you need since each blood type would leave out one/two food groups.
  • I read an exert on my blood type in that magazine. It makes total since to me...

For my blood type ( O)
I am supposed to eat lean meats, poultry and fish...lots of fruits (especially Banana's and Cherries which I found have helped with my weight loss in the past) and veggies (stay away from cauliflower and cabbage)

Stay away from wheat products like wheat germ and wheat bread. (which in the past when I have eaten whole wheat bread while dieting I tend to gain or not lose no matter how hard I am trying)

    Limit Grains...

I think I am going to try this ^_^

I did buy the magazine and read the article and did a little more research online. I am type O. Sounded good, especially the more energy part. But decided ultimately I would have to give up too many foods I enjoy.
Would be interested in how it works out for anybody who tried it though.
    Good luck.

My opinion of this is....Try it, and eat the majority the way your suppose to and eat minimal of the things your not. Stay in your calorie range. If I hit another plateau, I will try this.
