Today I have a lunchtime business meeting at an all you can eat Chinese buffet. (Not my idea).

What are the safest things to eat and what should I desperately avoid?

Any ideas???

Panicking.... Chinese is my ultimate favourite food.

I don't think you can say "Chinese buffet" and "safe" in the same sentence without breaking some international laws... LOL...

Me personally, I try to stick to the proteins...they will fill you up more.

i would stick to plain rice, some meat (with as little sauce as possible) and veg if they do it? avoid the starters, like prawn toast (yuuuuuuummy) and spring rolls etc and just go for 2 small plates of mains (so it looks like you are going for 'all you can eat' and wont get comments) and maybe fruit salad if they do it for pudding?

in reality however, i would probably just eat loads, and then work out and have a small tea, chinese is one of my favourites too!!

Broccoli Beef is usually the BEST. Watch out for chicken dishes....most of them are floured and fried.

good luck!!! Oh and take a picture of your plate (s) so you can refer back for portion size and to remember what you had. LOL
