how much sugar??

Also Your sugar allowence! I had semi skimmed milk with porridge this morning ! and it was 12 out of my 29s for sugar !! then I have had two carrotts to nibble on and before you know it Ive nearly hit my 29..surely that shouldnt be a problem....

    Sugar amounts seem unrealistic. I just changed my settings yesterday so that 'Sugars' would show up on my food log, and was shocked to see that the medium banana that I had for a snack put me over for the whole day (38 sugar, with a total of 30 allowed). I was well under my calorie goal for the day, but sugar was just about over from the start.
    USRDA for refined sugar is about 10%, or about 40g per 1600 calories, but my impression was that fruits and other natural sugars were not part of that amount. Does anyone else have any info or comments on this?
