Logging drinks

I was just wondering whether people logged everything they drank other than water into thier food diary. At the moment I don't and I just slighlty over estimate the rest of my calories to make up for it. I also only drink liquids with around 10 calories or less in them and when I have tea I have it with skimmed milk.
Do other people log everything they drink? Do you find it time consuming/unecessary? I'm open to suggestions on this and would like people's opinions and whether it makes any difference to their weight loss.

I don't log it when I have a packet of sugar-free drink mix (I usually have only one a day, and it's 5 or 10 calories) and I don't log black coffee, though I do log creamer if I have it. I don't think 10 calories logged will make a difference; after all, everything you log is mostly estimated unless you're scientifically testing the calories of each thing (which involves liquid nitrogen often, and I don't think anyone is doing that), so there is likely error in the positive and negative directions on your calorie count anyway.
Weight loss will come from overall healthy eating, not from 20 extra calories per day, so if you don't feel like logging it, don't worry about it.0 -
I log any and everything that I put in my mouth, drinks included.0

I log everything....... don't want to be cheating myself out of calories but i guess each to their own.0

I only drink three things; coffee, water and beer. So, I log it! If it hits my tongue, it gets logged.0

I log most drinks, but occasionally a sugar free squash is allowed to slide. My MFP use made me realise how many of my calories were liquid (fruit juice, alcohol, sports drinks etc). I even added a separate section for logging drinks to make sure I keep track.0

I log drinks with significant calories like milk, soy milk, wine, juice, etc. But I don't log tea, water, or diet drinks. I would not log a 10 calorie drink.0

I try to log everything thru the day. Although I know its just estimated numbers it shows/reminds me of my progress. It is especially important when I started cutting out the diet soda. I could watch the numbers of 3-4 a day to 3 a week. I also use it to log my benefiber to make it easier when counting my fiber intake due to my increased fiber diet.
It is also just good to log it so that you stay in the habit of logging everything. I like many others have caught myself snacking a bite of this a bite of that.
I dont think it is going to kill you if you dont log it tho.0 -
Given just how many calories and how much sugar is in some drinks hell yes I log it. I'm terrible at logging my water coz I know there are no cals but anything else gets put in.0

I log every drink unless it completely free of anything. I don't include black coffee or sugar free squash but I do include latte's and diet pepsi.
(also depends if I have the time too log it................)

I don't log things like crystal light, or diet coke, but I log my coffee because I put milk or almond milk in it. I never drink juice so that isn't an issue, and on the rare occasion that I have a beer I log that.0

I always log what I drink.....water, tea, coffee, beer...everything. Even coffee has calories in it.0

I have been falling down about tracking my water intake lately, but I do track everything that doesn't come from a faucet. Even diet soda. Because it has sodium, and whatever else, which I track because it makes me blow up. Just depends on you I will however say that I have dial up internet, and it only takes a few seconds to track it. So for most people it wouldn't take any unnecessary time0

I log everything that has calories. Therefore, I do not log things like diet soda or hot tea.0

I log booze, OJ, etc but I don't log tea (really bad as I drink 3 cups a day BUT to be fair I have never logged them and have still lost!)0

For the most part I try to. I don't log my morning coffee but I do log the creamer I put in it.0

I try to log everything, it's nice and easy on a week day as i fill it in at work as i eat however weekends are harder as i'm always out and about0

I log everything. It also helps me keep track of my water consumption if I'm having a hectic day. It isn't time consuming at all because for me it is just a check box since all my drinks are pretty much loaded in.0

absolutely. I log anything over 5 calories. I would rather overestimate my calorie intake than underestimate0
