This morning i decided to see how long i could run. Normally i can do 2-3 miles and 3 miles takes me 33.3 minutes. Well, this morning I jogged for 50 solid minutes. Which means it's just over 4 miles!!!! I might have tried for more if i didn't feel like my legs were going to fall off! lol Thought I would share my personal fitness achievement! :drinker: :blushing:

it's nice to focus on what we can do physically verses just the scale. What kind fitness victories are you guys experiencing??

  • That is wonderful news! Great job!

I have been jogging too. My driveway circles my house and eleven laps is one mile. Usually I can only do two laps in a row but I did four the other day. It isn't as impressive as your story but it I still am pretty proud of myself. I am working on five laps now.

Congratulations on such a wonderful jog!!

Thats great! When i started trying to jog a year ago when i started this journey, i remember i could only go less than a 1/4 of the track at the gym....the track is about 1/4 of a mile. so that goes to show you that if i can get to 4 miles, anyone can. i used to always get asthma feeling pressure when i'd run. no longer is that the case. i think i was just so outta shape. You keep at it donnalee and you can achieve anything you set your mind to
  • When I started running I had trouble breathing. I blame second hand smoke. And my back really hurt. My legs never really got tired. Now I can breath better and my legs finally are getting tired. I feel better with each jog.
