In 8 months, while struggling with PCOS, I have managed to lose the amount my son weighs!! He weighs 50lbs. I never realized how much 50lbs was until he JUMPED on my back last night. So glad I no longer have those extra 50lbs of fat on me!
Here I am last night with my son. My daughter said when I lose 60 I have to put her on my back ... maybe I should stop now! So kidding! 36lbs to go!

You're doing great!!! and look wonderful! I use a foot stool to carry on my back to see just how much 18 pounds to carry around was. Whew!! Amazing we carried around that much weight, and just lived with it.

Good for you!!! Keep up the great work!! :drinker:

You probably offended someone by apologizing for offending some one..lol..I DID think some tragic happened initially but amazingly didn't feel the desire to even remotely get offended.

I wonder why? Hmmm oh that's right it's none of my business what you write on here. It's freedom of speech. Enjoy it. Maybe next time add the disclaimer please don't censor me.

PS...GREAT JOB WITH THE WEIGHT LOSS!

I saw the title and skipped it. Not offended, I just thought it was something else.

    You Look Awesome !

I remember when I was a teenager and was into backpacking. I would put on my pack, which weighed about 30 pounds, and all the familiar feelings of moving around were strange and difficult. I remember trying on a pack with 50 pounds. It was still possible to stand and walk, but it was so much weight that actually hiking with it wouldn't have been any fun.

Well, 30 years later, I realized I weighed 60 pounds more than I did then. I don't hop out of my chair, I don't jump when I can step, etc. And I think about that feeling of the time I tried walking around with a 50-pound backpack.

Whether its wearing a backpack, or letting a kid ride piggy-back, or whatever, I think it would be a great experience for everybody when they reach adult stature to really experience what it feels like to carry excess weight around. Kind of like those exercises where kids carry a "pretend" baby around and have to care for it.

HA! Now that you mention it I can only imagine the reply's you got. I saw the title and assumed you lost as much weight as your son weighs. I guess people must read into it what they want.

Girl you look amazing! Way to go on the weight loss! Also, cute way to put it into perspective by comparing it to your son's weight. I think about weight and compare it to things as well. As of right now I've only lost around 10lbs but I can't wait to lose your son!
