Hi I'm new to fitness pal as of today. Today is the beginning of a healthier life, for me and my family. I've tried every diet but since turning 50 the weight won't go. So I am looking forward to hearing all your success stories to encourage me on this journey. Thanks to my good friend who suggested this site to me. Good luck to us all.

It's a great program, just stay consistent. Make sure you read the threads for newcomers as they'll explain how the program works (ie eating exercise calories to maintain the proper level of deficit)
I've been here since December and have been losing weight, log everything you eat, pick the appropriate activity level and enjoy.0
