Anyone see this documentry and try the diet? It really got me thinking to try it because I find it so hard to stay away from the foods that I love and got me to the weight that i am at; a solid 240lbs.

  • I saw it and was amazed at the health transformation. You can see how much healthier they are in the eyes, skin, and even in the way they carry themselves. That juicer is pretty pricey.

I saw it and it made me go out and purchase a juicer! I haven't done a juice fast though just like have some homemade carrot juice for a snack or something. I'd like to at some point, but....sigh....I'm not determined enough I guess.
  • I've seen the documentary a couple of times, but I don't think I'm ready for something that drastic. However, you can go to www.jointhereboot.com, and they provide you with different levels of juicing. I recently purchased a juicer and use it everday for breakfast. I started with the mean green juice, but now I just use what I have and go with it. It's definitely worth it. The first week I juiced, that was the only change I made. I still exercised the same, still ate my usual food, and I lost almost five pounds.

I think next month I might be up for it though. It's definitely challenging, but I feel the biggest difference in my body, and it's worth it.

I was told by a friend to watch this... Thanks for the link, I totally forgot! :-P My friend lost 11lbs drinking juice! I'm not sure that's the best way to go about getting your calories or nutrients..

amazing documentary! Yes I did the detox for 30 days and had a 20pound weight loss. first few days are tough but still had lots of energy to work out and on days I didn't have energy, I just listened to my body and took it easy. I had little cravings for food. It is crazy- I actually crave the junk more that I "can" eat it rather than when I was restricting myself to the juicing. You end up feeling amazing if you can mentally stick with it and physically. I believe about 75% is mental and 25% is the rest. You learn a lot about your body and how strong you really are. I consider it a sort of jumpstart to my journey to a healthy lifestyle- I still juice at least every other day and eat lots of fruits and veggies----another great documentary right now on netflix is "forks over knives".....

I did not see the documentary, i just went to see the trailer and all I can say is WOW! just see what a diet change and a little exercice can do for you. I hope it inspires people to do the same.

    thanks for the link♥

I loved this documentary! It was amazing how much YOUNGER he looked! I haven't been able to afford a juicer, so I haven't tried it. :( But nutrients from plant-based foods are really miracle workers. It is just so amazing to see someone heal themselves with food like that! You should certainly speak with your doctor about going on a juice fast.
