I always go barefoot when I take the dog for a walk. Well, today I stepped on a yellow jacket (a bee for those who are not in the know) and it hurt like heck! I was planning on running after walking the dog, but I can't even put any weight on my left foot. Booo for stinging insects!

Uhm, actually, a yellow jacket is a WASP.

Just kidding, I was just being a little ****. I'm sorry you stepped on one :( that must really stink! Maybe next time you should wear shoes. Just in case.

I Hate wasps! I once stood on top of a yellow jacket nest that was in the ground and 5 of them went up my pants leg - agony!

Oh my God! That sounds awful! I've been stung by a bee once and the stinger didn't even stay in and I started hyperventilating and freaking out and my lips got all tingly. I don't think I'm allergic though, probably just a first reaction kind of thing.

I almost died when I was 7, unconsious when I arrived at the hospital from a bee sting. I took 4 allergy shots a month for 10 years. My allergy to some wasps were reduced, but not the mixed vespids. I still have to carry an Epipen. Got nailed by a yellow jacket a few years ago and ended up in the emergency room...I hate bees!

Hope your foot gets better soon!
