Well, the boyfriend and I were going to go out to dinner and then spend the evening at home , but, a friend texted me last night and may be having a small party, so I'll probably go to her house. The past two years I've went to sleep before midnight, so my goal is to at least stay up! :laugh:

I've carried on my family's tradition of doing a puzzle and hanging out til the ball drops, so my bf and I will be doing a really cool 1500 piece one. And of course snacking! :laugh:

so i will be partying with my friends haha
i do not want to sit at home
ive always sat home and watched the ball drop with friends
and we had our own little fun
but this year 2008 is going out with a BANG
esp since my ID says im 24 hehehe
ive had my friends ID since she turned 21
but again never been out on new years!

Wow, everyone's partying tonight!

I'm going to my mom's for the traditional Chinese takeout and games. No alcohol. And that's fine with me. I have to get up early and drive home to take care of my dog anyway.

I've never gone out for New Year's either. My friend's husband and brother in law own a little bar, and he is driving us there and back, so we'll be there for a LONG time! I'm excited, everyone who goes there is so fun. And I am definitely working out before hand, earning some extra calories for that wine;) Hope ya'll have a good one!

i will be staying in with hubby and his parents, we will have dinner together and a few quiet drinks and stay up until the new year! and watch the usual new years eve programmes on tv.

i dont mind, money is tight and if i was out i would be having way too many cals! lol

We got a hotel room down in Waikiki so we can go party (and not have to worry about having a DD!) it'll be me my husband and a few of our friends (and everyone else who goes downtown!

I think our plan is to go out to dinner with a bunch of friends and their kids....(earlier of course) and then go back to their house to hang out, play games, watch the ball drop, etc(and drink of course!). We can put our kids (mostly toddlers) down to sleep there.

Should be fun!!

The ball dropping at midnight will mark 11 years since I first kissed my husband. He has a terrible head cold and I'm unenthused. We shall see if either of us are still awake at 12 midnight.

Well, my bf and I are going to go to my parents house, we've always snacked on things all night. He has to got to work @ 10 so I will be there till midnight and then maybe go see him at work if I'm not sleep walking or anything ha ha!

My fiance, BIL, and myself are going to one of my friend's houses. I bought 3 drinking games at Spencer's for Christmas (a gift to my fiance and I....so we have something to do now that we can't afford to keep going out) and we'll sit and play them. We'll watch the ball drop on TV (there may be two of them...ya know...due to all the during the drinking games while we wait for it....) And she gave us permission to crash at her house....Yes, literally, I may crash at her house :bigsmile: :drinker: :smokin:
