Anyone ever been diagnosed with one?
My specialist kind of freaked me out the other day saying if it was a cyst anywhere else they wouldn't think twice about it.....
Just wondering if anyone else has been thru this.
PS. I'm 32, very rarely drink, exercise frequently and have a fairly healthy diet most of the time.
Thanks!

no - is it an infection? aren't cysts benign? I'm curious to know how they happened to find it, are you having symptoms? Anyway, I hope it's nothing serious and you have a full recovery

My mom had a cyst on her pancreas for years. She FINALLY had the cyst, and part of her pancreas, removed at the Mayo Clinic. By the time she went in to have surgery, I believe the cyst was the size of a marble. It wasn't cancerous, which was the biggest worry especially when it does involve the pancreas. Did the doctor say anything about removing it?0

the found it while doing a CT scan for some tummy issues.
my specialist wants to do an ultrasound guided scope and he says very soon for it.
the upside, I think lol, is that my blood work is showing normal, but I do get abdominal pain and have days where I'm so tired I could fall asleep at my desk. Other than that, I feel pretty dang good most of the time.0 -
They thought my mom had a huge one. This was like 35 years ago. They did a newfangled CAT scan and it looked like it was just inflamed. They put her on enteral feeding (tube down to intestines bypassing the stomach) for a month...no change. Then they did exploratory surgery and found out she had TWO pancreas. Both healthy, both functioning fine. The pain she had been having was from a stomach ulcer they couldn't find.0
